Golden retriever swipes hooman’s phone while they’re sleeping, leaving behind a trail of silly selfies that reveal all their goofy antics

Have you ever had a pair of socks go missing in your sleep? No, the washing machine didn't eat them this time, it was probably your golden retriever. Ours has a pupticular pension for socks, shoes, and rolls of toilet paper. Why? Your guess is as good as ours, but they love it. They love to sneak off and take them to their bed to hide them from us (or rip them to pieces). But the goofy golden in this story had their eyes on something else, something much more expensive than socks or toilet paper…

It was none other than their hooman's phone! Perhaps they were trying to order more treats on the DL, maybe they wanted some uninterrupted YouTube time watching their furvorite show (squirrels), or maybe they just like to play tricks on their unsuspecting pawrent. However, they made one fatal mistake due to their lack of thumbs - they couldn't open the lock screen and ended up accidentally sending their hooman a trail of silly selfies for them to wake up to.   • We couldn't even get mad if we found these as a result of our dog stealing our phones. A little worried, sure, but mad? How can you get mad at that awwdorably goofy face? We certainly can't.
